Cemetery Spruce Up

Come and help spruce up the resting place of many of Clark Counties earliest pioneers, Fisher Cemetery.   Volunteers will be cleaning headstones and markers, as well as trimming and clearing vegetation.  

Time:  10 am.  Meet at the maintenence building for instruction and safety measures.  

Volunteers:  25-50 volunteers needed.  This is a family-friendly project and appropriate for volunteers of all ages.  Youth under the age of 18 must have a signed parent permission form.  Youth 13 and younger must come with a guardian.  All volunteers must sign a liability waiver.  http://www.parkhero.org/PDF/minorconsent.pdf

Parking:  Parking is available at the cemetary

Clothing and Tools:  Volunteers should wear long pants and closed toe shoes with sturdy soles.  Gloves are also appropriate.  The city will provide a limited number of tools, so volunteers are asked to bring sod shovels, edging tools and similar tools suited for the work.
